Robotics in the Field: TEB Innovations Inspires Grade 6 Students Through LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Workshop

 As part of the Week 3 Challenge – #RoboticsInTheField under BYKM 2026 and FGC India, TEB Innovations proudly conducted a hands-on LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robotics Workshop for Grade 6 students.

The objective of this outreach initiative was to take STEM education beyond our team and introduce young learners to the exciting world of robotics, engineering, and programming. Through interactive demonstrations and practical activities, students were given an opportunity to explore how robots are designed, built, and programmed to perform real-world tasks.

During the session, participants learned about the fundamental components of a robot, including the EV3 Intelligent Brick, motors, and sensors. Students were introduced to concepts such as obstacle detection, movement control, and basic programming logic. They also experienced a live demonstration of an obstacle-avoiding robot built using LEGO Mindstorms EV3.

The workshop emphasized creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation. Students worked together, explored robotics concepts, and gained valuable exposure to STEM technologies in an engaging and accessible way.
